The Public Service Reform Unit (PSRU) is engaged in delivering the Government of Montserrat’s Public Service Reform Programme (PSRP) which commenced in 2005 with funding from the UK Department for International Development (DfID). The PSRP focuses on three interlinked strands aimed at:

  • Performance Management Development by improving strategic and output orientation;
  • Improving Human Resource Management Development across government;
  • Organisation Development though ensuring that organisational structures are efficient and effective.

The PSRU drives the achievements of these objectives by providing technical guidance, training, and other support to Departments as they work their way through the reform and modernisation process. The department is instrumental in the development and delivery of the following:

  • Salary Survey / New Salary Policy
